Columbine Care in Littleton, Colorado is testing and fitting 20 qualifying Colorado residents with new hearing aids. The recipients have already applied and been approved. Applications for this event are no longer being accepted nor walk- in appointments available Cash donations as well as donations of used hearing aids are welcome.
What is Hearing the Call Colorado?
Seven clinics in Colorado are supporting this initiatives that is designed to provide access to quality and affordable hearing health care for qualified individuals in the Centennial State. The audiologists have known for years that there were a lot more people who needed hearing healthcare but couldn’t afford it. Our campaign brings hope and healing to the hearing-impaired locally in Colorado. Through quality healthcare, we help people connect with family, education, and opportunities.

Hearing Loss Association of Denver April Virtual Zoom Meeting

Dr. Dusty will be speaking about -- Hearing and Cognition, What's the Buzz All About?
Researchers have demonstrated a link between hearing and cognition for many years, but recent studies have shown that the use of hearing aids or other rehabilitation services for hearing loss may slow down the progression of cognitive decline. Dr. Jessen will discuss:
· The link between hearing and cognition, and why it's important to consider.
· A new FDA-approved cognition screener called "Cognivue."
· Functional Hearing Assessments and why you should have one.
· How to improve your success with hearing aids and cognition.
